I raced the Seatac Shuffle on Sunday and came in 15th in Sport Men 19-34. Had a great time and there was a good, challenging field. The indie series has definitely matured since I last raced on the west side. I hung around the 1:30 race to get the mud and rain soaked expert on film.
I played around with some different blur techniques and kept my strobe on a flash bracket for most of the shooting. Had a great time and tried to focus on capturing some real racing moments. The sprint photo finish for Expert Men 34-44(?) came out fantastic.
I offer prints and licensing on all my photos at very reasonable prices. A hi-res copy for personal use can be as cheap as $1. Let me know if you’re interested!

Awesome photos! What kind of camera do you use?
I shoot with a Rebel XT. I’ve got the 18-55 kit lens and the older 35-80 kit lens from my film bodies. The flash is a Vivitar 285HV triggered manually with a Hot Shoe -> PC Cord.
I appreciate the feedback! See you out there, Mike.
