photo, design, and code in an age of renaissance men

Code

I’m a long time programmer who, like many, started developing games in my youth. 1-2-3 Contact’s BASIC listings were a great starting point when I had my own 8088 as a kid. I’ve since pursued the field with a tenacity matched by few of my friends.

My education continued through Bellevue Community College where I graduated with a C#.NET certificate. I also made some progress in an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Washington State University. A paper trail can be helpful but most of my work was being done on open-source platforms for various companies piloted by Allen Hartle, the radio technology visionary.

Stay tuned for some great blogs on writing code on open-source platforms for today’s world. I’ll be featuring PHP, XHTML, and AJAX development articles with some CSS design hints thrown in for the designer in you.
